Health issue? (or hay?)

This may be a really dumb question, but I hate to risk anything when it comes to my babies. Is this discoloration between my boys teeth from hay or should I be concerned health wise? I didn't want to attempt to clean it away in case it was an issue.

Hi, from the photo it looks like it could be some hay stuck in the gums or between the teeth. You could try to gently remove it with a cotton bud or something similar.
