Are you also syringing water? I would normally syringe 10ml's food, 5ml's water to ensure the piggy is hydrated. I hope that makes sense, so every 10ml's of food, I give 5ml's water.

Keep trying to tempt her with hay to, your doing a brilliant job!

Yes, I'm given water at approx. 50% of the amount of critical care. In between each syringe of CC I'm offering her food & the range she is taking is getting greater. She's got loads of hay & I've seen her eating some when she's laid in it. Her wees are quite strong at present more concentrated so she's still hydrating & her poos are getting more frequent. As she starts to eat more veggies I'm cutting down the amount of CC. It's nice to go 24 hours without a downturn.

I'm going to give her some more CC now, then I'm off to Bunny Burrows to cut all the guinea pigs nails then back early afternoon to feed Minky again. When she's not feeding, she loves to lay on her back like in the pictures I posted earlier in the week. She objects when I disturb her to put her back in her cage.

I've just caught up with this thread and just want to send piggy kisses to Minky from me and the gang and hugs to you. Get well soon Minky. xx

When Panda had eating/dental problems I used to soften the hay in warm water let it soak for a bit so it wasn't so hard to chew. I also used the water to make up the critical care.
