Help Dog Will Not Leave Piggies Alone

Can anyone give me any advice my cocker spainel who is 4 will not leave piggies alone I have them indoors at moment but they will be going outside when cage arrives . He jumps all over furniture trying look at them if I cuddle them and shut him out of room he goes mad we used to look after a rabbit that he played with so he wants to play with these I think . I just dont know what to do to calm him down only had piggies 2 weeks

My cocker spaniel was like this. He's used to rabbits but piggies were new to him. I kept him on a lead and used treats and used the Leave command. When he turned away from them, he got a treat. He's much better now.

My mum fosters dogs and once she as fostering a dog that tried to hurt the pigs what I did before he went was to lock him away before I went to the pigs then he didn't know was with the pigs.
