HELP Gumtree ad pregnant guinea pig

Cant believe the add I have just seem on gumtree Edinburgh
Male and female guinea pig 1year old female is 1 month pregnant the person wants £10 for these guinea pigs comes with cage and some supplies i don't want to imagine what kind of home they will go to at that price would love to help but with Xmas coming up don't have much money for big vet bills I have the time and space for them any idea vet prices for pregnant guinea pig or is there anyone that can take these guinea pigs
 
That is awful. Why dont you email the person and ask them to give the piggies to a shelter and explain how the sow needs good care as she is pregnant?
 
I have contacted them to see if they are still available waiting on reply
 
If you are thinking of taking these pigs on and dealing with the pregnancy yourself, please don't unless you are experienced in births and have good vet back up. So many well meaning members of the forum have done just that when coming across adverts like this and have gone through such heartbreak.

Please think very carefully.

Remember not to pay for this pig - there is a Rescue called Paws that maybe able to help in Edinburgh.
