Help! I accidently cut the quick 🥺

I just cut the quick in Willows nail she doesnt seem in pain but how do I stop it bleeding? I've currently got it so the nail is pressed against a paper towel while shes on my lap munching lettuce.

Try dipping the affected foot into some flour /cornflour to help stop bleeding, that way if they decide to kick it , it won't do any harm. We've all done it, I seem to manage to clip too close the same piggy who's the calm one, rather than the drama queen fidgety noisy one!

We’ve all done it. As long as the bleeding stops you’ll be okay. As above, dip in cornflour.

Just plain flour? I've heard of talcum power being used but we didnt have any. By the time she had sat still on the tissue and finshed her peice of lettuce it had stopped, but she then spun around to look for more and started bleeding a bit again. I've put her back in her cage with fresh hay as I know she will sit in the same spot to eat that. Shes not limping or anything. I guess I just keep an eye on her from here? Just an update: By the time she had sat still for 15 mins eating her hay it had stopped. I'm keeping a close eye on that toe to make she it does get infected or swollen. I'll look into getting one of those sticks for the future . Thank you for all the replies

I’ve learnt that a bowl of cornflour is as essential for piggy nail trimming as the bribes.
Also, to wear something old so if it gets blood stained from a cut it doesn't matter
