I know a bit of a nick isn’t uncommon but I think this is more than that. I don’t know what’s happened, I just did a nail trim of them both. Timmy, all fine. Jenny, 4 nipped quicks! In 2.5 years of nail cutting it’s only happened once before so I’ve no idea what has happened. Anyway I’ve put cornstarch on which has dealt with 3 of them but one just won’t stop bleeding. It’s not trickling but there are persistent drips. I’m trying to put pressure on it but she won’t stop wriggling. And eating the kitchen towel I’m using to put the pressure on!

It’s one thing after another with these two just now.

You can try styptic powder from the pharmacy, flour or cornflour. If the bleeding doesn't stop within about 10-15 minutes, then please contact a vet or out-of-hours vet.

I did cornflour. It bled for more than 15 mins, probably more like 45 but she’s happy enough now.

I’m mortified I did this to her.

It happens to us all sooner or later if you have piggies long term. Don't be too upset! :tu:
Glad that everything has settled down again.
