I know it was the wrong decision don’t yell at me I gave my Guinea pig benedryl to euthanize him. I don’t have the money to take him to the vet and he’s very sick. He’s still breathing but twitching a lot what is happening? Please Tell me what’s going on

We can’t tell you what is going on because we’re not vets and only a hands on exam can let you know. Please find someone who can give or lend you the money and get your piggy to the vet ASAP. He may be in pain and it’s not fair to leave him like that. You should have surrendered him rather than do that.

find a person that can take him to the vet! he doesn't deserve to be in pain.

Firstly, the drug benedryl is not intended for the purpose of euthanasia so what you are seeing is likely a reaction. I suppose you gave a large overdose which would have put him in a great deal of pain and suffering.

If he is still holding on, you need to see a vet urgently and as a matter of emergency. No animal should have to suffer like that. Euthanasia is an act of mercy and meant to end suffering not cause it.

Sorry to be blunt, but as said above there are other options to what you chose and you should have surrendered him either to a rescue, or even the vets themselves. Asked for help with the payment towards the bill or asked for a payment plan. If you still have another guinea pig perhaps put this in mind. This one could also become sick so you either need to figure out a way of saving if the worst was to happen or look at giving this one up.
