Help My Guinea Pig Won't Eat!

My guinea pigs name is Fluffles. A few weeks ago my guinea pig stopped eating and we took him to the vet and they gave him antibiotics. This didn't work and we went to a different Vet. Meanwhile my guides pig had a chipped tooth and overtime it made his bite slanted. The second vet cut his front teeth and also his back teeth wile he was under anaesthetic. He survived that, throughout the whole time he is not eating my mum and I are feeding him CC. It has been more than a week since he had his teeth cut and he only bites little bits out of food I try to give him :( sometimes spitting it out.
I also just realised today that he has got an underbite....his bottom front teeth are in front of the top front teeth. From his slanted position he had his teeth in before he has got a misaligned jaw.
What is the best thing to do? How do you fix an underbite and a misaligned jaw?

Thanks! The forum and sanctuary are both based in Britain, so we will only be able to help you with tips and advice. It is not at all uncommon for dental piggies to be off their food even after treatment, and the treatment may need to be repeated. Your hand feeding care is a vital part of his successful treatment. Has your boy got some metacam, as the mouth is often very sore at first?

Sounds like you have a competent vet, which is a huge relief!

I would strongly recommend to weigh him daily in order to check his food intake. A drop in weight is often the first sign that the teeth are not right.

You can also try offering a bit of fresh grass (if it isn't burned to a crisp yet where you are) or finely chopped fresh herbs like coriander/cilantro (what are you calling it in Australia?), parsley, dill or mint and see whether he likes that. Pureed raw veg mixed with or interspersed the syringe food can also make it tastier. But the mainstay of his diet should be the fibre. You can also mush up pellets. Best cut off the narrow tip of a 1ml syringe just below the black plunger bit; with a syringe of that size you have best control.
 
Yeah we have been weighing him however he has lost a bit of weight. I have given him some dill and parsley mushed up. We call it coriander in Australia, I have tried him with that but he is not bothered with it. Thanks for the tips!
