I have had my guinea pig for nearly a year now.. A couple of days ago my guinea pig called Mr Squeeks started sneezing. I didnt think nothing off it. But now he has losted alot of weight, he has stopped eating, he use to run away when i tried to pick him up but he dosent have the strenght to now . He also grunts insted of squeeks when i put him back in hes cage he doesnt move even an inch........ I'm really starting to worrie now......what do i do? I havd tried givein him sugar water and he had 1 bite of a slice of apple.

At the moment i have been of work for a while. I got him when i was working. I dont have any money for a emergency vet. If the vets were open i would happily take him. Is there anything i can do untill monday

I'm afraid to say at this stage an emergency vet is your only option, he won't wait until monday.

I am very sorry for the bad circumstances, but it sounds very much like a matter of life and death, and not something that can wait. :(

Ok thank you everyone i will try an get some money and will take him in the morning ..... thanks again

They use pet medics emergency I think. They do in this area anyway xx

That's good! :) I'm lucky in that my usual vets are very good with the piggies too! But I still have to default to pet medics out of hours :(
