I need help!

I wanted to brush Brownie just now, but when i took the brush up i saw a lot of ANTS! :( I actually placed the brush very near to Brownie's cage... And when i look closer to her cage i saw some ants as well.. :(:(

Anyone have the same experience as me before? Is there anything I can do to keep the ants away?

Thanks in advance to everyone :)

I take it Brownie is outdoors?

During the summer I had a few ants, not many, but enough to bug me (no pun intended).
So I used some ant killer (Nippon liquid ant killer) I placed it at the base of the hutch, just at legs of the hutch, where the ants were climbing up from – seemed to have solved the problem for me. The ants see it as a food source and feed it to the colony, but I believe they'll only take it if it's the only food source.

Of course the piggies have to eat too, so just make sure to clean up any uneaten food (especially fruit) . . .
Not sure if this is the best advice, but it worked for me.

Brownie is actually on the floor of my room.. :) That's why i feel so weird when i saw ants :( Brownie was chattering her teeth when i carried her just now, I'm afraid ants might be biting her! :0

i would say completely clean the cage, also check where the ants are getting in- it *** just be via a window or your house might have an ant problem.
