Help last night Fluffy started moaning and arching her back, she was eating and drinking normally - wagg pellets, hay, fresh veggies, bulb fennel, red bell pepper, celery leaves smallpiece of apple. Her poops were infrequent and small. Gave her bucaspan and gripe water along with stomach rub and vibrating pad. This morning less moaning but took her to vets asap, now on metoclopramide and infacol. Removed all her food pellets and given loads of extra hay, put critical care (made up) in her bowl. However I'm getting conflicting advice as to whether i should continue to feed her with fresh (non gassy) veg such as dandelion leaves and cucumber. her appetite is still there and i am worried that she will lose too much weight along with the inclination to eat. What does everyone think should she have small amount of veg?

If her poo's are just small I would give veg if they are soft I would hold back. Trying and get as much Critical Care into her as she'll take also some probiotics may help her gut.

Did the vet have any idea what was wrong?

we went with the idea that it may have been bloat and the vet didnt disagree with us. no evidence of fluid or lumps on palpitation of stomach, obviously if it continues would investigate further with xray etc. Thanks for reply i will give her some food,
