Boars can mate well before that. As Bailey says, remove boars at 21 days. I have had some really big boars that I've separated from mum and sisters at 17 days. I have also had a sow pregnant at 8 weeks. xx

I had to remove boars at 19 days old the smallest one started to try to mate mum. I whisked them out straight away the fruity little tinker was the smallest in the litter that was having a go.rolleyes

Boys can start from three weeks old (or even a few days earlier if they were well developed at birth!). The very first bit of rumbling and mountaineering is usually just a practice run.

Girls come into sexual maturity from 4 weeks onwards. We have had cases on here with mums as young as that! The earliest documented pregnancy between brother and sister is 24 days.
