Am I the only person with an incredibly smelly long haired piggy - the hair around her butt is covered in wee. I've tried to trim it and will take some more off tomorrow - is that what you do or do you think its somehow my fault?! I bed them inside on inco pad and fleece. They have hay in the places where they lie too. Was wondering is it the bedding - is Penelope getting the chance to lie in her pee longer before it seeps through the fleece? Would hay all over be better? But then Hazel the short haired piggy is fine, so it mustn't be the bedding....? Anyone else had this ****? Any advice? :{

No, Henry was stinky and all dirty round his back end last week. I gave him a hair cut (all over) because he was turning into a right little fluff ball, but I cut his rear end hair much shorter. He looks soooooo much better now. I think I left it a little too long between trims :{ I think if you can trim it realy regular then you'll find that she stays much cleaner and less smelly :)

BTW mine are on fleece/inco's too, I think it is just a case of once they wee in it, that's it!

Christopher has regular but cuts as he gets it all over him, plus it gets easily matted around the bum area. I think it is a fact of life with long haired piggies. I also wash him once a month with GG's posh n go

My long haired piggies all have a regular bottom trim to keep them cleaner in that area.
