Help with my Piggy after his friend died

I dont post on here much but i was just wondering if someone could help me.
I had to get one of my boys (billy) put to sleep today and i'm not sure what's best to do with jake. He's an unneutered male so not sure whether its best to keep him on his own, or try and find a spayed female? I'm not really wanting to get him neutered as dont want to risk the anaesthetic

What age is Jake? If he's an adult, then the best thing would be to get a baby boy to be his friend. They usually get on well.

I agree a baby boar would be best as jake will "father" him my sister-in-law has just paired her two year old male with a 4 week old and they are fantastic together :)

a speyed female is very rare as it is an extremely risky procedure - most rescues will let you take Jake along to find his mate good luck finding him a friend :)

jake is 2 and a half. we have a guinea pig rescue centre near us so will take him there and see if we can find him a little friend :)
