Hello looking for bit of advice,I have 2 female guineas conestly grooming the piggies 24/7 eating full of fur away it's getting the point it's very bad now

Are they doing it to themselves or to another pig? Please take them to the vets as it could be mites.

It's called barbering and a lot of pigs do it. I've never had a pig that has done it before but I think people just let them do it.

It might be worth keep any long pigs hair short so they don't have as much to chew off.

They they are short haired piggies

Are all 9 like this? It is certainly not normal if they're all missing fur and likely to be mites which means they must see a vet! It can get very bad and needs to be treated.

Can you upload any photos?

If you're struggling with vets perhaps a rescue can help, it is incredibly important that we're able to give our pets the vet treatments they need.

There's no Missing fur they just over groom and that's no right

I don't know what you mean now, how do you know they're over grooming and why is it bad if no fur is missing? I'm very confused.

Pigs chewing on the fur of other pigs is called barbering and it's a somewhat annoying habit that some pigs develop. One of my prior pigs would barber her cagemate on and off... she would chew on her constantly for a month or two, then lay off for a bit, then start up again just as suddenly for no apparent reason. It isn't supposed to be harmful to either the pig doing the barbering or the one that ends up with a bad haircut, though. If they are doing it to themselves I would be worried about itching/mites, but if it's another pig being an unwanted hairstylist it's annoying but not necessarily a problem in terms of anything but appearance.
