If the veggies look, smell and feel fine I wouldnt worry. Our fridge's crisper is amazing and regularly have salad and veg many weeks out of date that the humans of the house eat and it's fine.
Please do not panic. I'm very much of the persuasion that veg should not have a best before date on it as it's stopped people from relying on their eyes, nose and hands to tell whether it is still ok or not. Bear in mind it is a "best before" not "use by". A use by date indicates it could be unsafe to eat after that date whereas a best before simply means the supplier cannot guarantee the quality after the date. Always rely on your senses - have a look (is there any mould, is it looking slimy), have a sniff (does it smell funky), and have a feel (has it gone soft). If it looks, smells and feels like it would before the date then it's safe to feed.
