Herbs

What sort of fresh herbs can I give to my guinea pigs. Often my local sainsburys sells them cheap if they are going out of date. Just got them a bunch of parsley.

Mine love all herbs, mint and dill are firm favourites here

Parsley
Dill
Tarragon
Mint
Basil
Coriander
Chives

I think Thyme and Rosemary have also been given. But favourites are usually dill, parsley and coriander. Coriander is the only one 'safe' to feed every day.

mine go completely insane for dill!

anyherbs are fine, its just a case of seeing what they like best! mine love parsley and corriandar too!

remember thoguh not to over feed herbs, once 3-4 times a week as some are high in calcium i.e. dill

What about dried herbs - I read they should not get them too often?
