Heterochromia!

I just had a realization about my guinea sophia. She had a blue eye present in a picture I took of her when we first got her and this morning i saw a brown eye. So i checked both sides and she has heterochromia! her right eye is blue and her left is brown!
 
Cool, never seen a pig with different coloured eyes. Seen lots of dogs (particularly husky types) and horses though

I know! I've researched it and can't find any others like it. I'll try to take pictures but she's not really tame yet, so I don't want to have to push her.

Here are the best pictures I could get. As you see they are different colors. I have been reseaeching and it seems its not normal. It could possibly be partial blindness? I want to go to the vet and get her checked anyway but my mom won't let me...

Ah, I see you have the case of a busy piggie :D I hope it isn't blindness! Are you able to see the Sophia's pupil in the blue eye? A lot of blue-eyed guinea pigs I could find off the internet usually had a blue ring around the pupil (a bit like a husky). Another reason why her eye might be blue is from hay poke. Hay poke usually clouds up piggie's eye so it has a grey-blue tone to it. Either way I hope you can get your mom to get her checked out. Let's just wish that she really is a heterochromic guinea pig. We had a David Bowie piggy too Sarsaparilla. Beautiful eyes!
 
My guinea pig also had two diffrent colour eyes. Here name is panda. She dosent appear to be blind so hopefully its just a cool thing she has instead of a form of blindness.15555453049154618293928018702620.webp15555453411245313921476648431953.webp
