MY 2 BIG GUINEA PIGS (MAISY AND APRIL) HAVE ALFALFA HEY BUT THE LITTLE ONES (5 OF THEM) HAVE TIMOTHEY HEY. SHOULD i CHANGE THE HEY FOR MAISY AND APRIL TO TIMMOTHEY AND MAISY WONT EAT GIRTY FOOD WHY? 98)

Older guinea pigs should be fed timothy hay and alfalfa only in moderation. I couldn't quite tell you why your piggie won't eat gerty any more. I know mine doesn't like it and I wouldn't feed it either cause it has extra food colorings in it that aren't as healthy for my piggie.

I think it is because maisy is a very fussy eater. I tried the stuff it tastes discusting!
