This is my new baby girl, affectionately known as Squidgey pig! I have her brother Godzilla too, but they look nothing alike. We're not entirely sure what breed she is but she's incredibly soft and shiny. She glistens in the sun!

At the moment she's a bit of a livewire, doesn't sit still for more than a few seconds and makes an alarm call to deafen all when she's had enough.

Awww, she's beautiful and i :)) imagining her alarm call!

Her ears wiggle when she does it, it's absolutely hilarious! She's living with a couple of my older ladies and I think she's very much attached. Her brother is with one of my older males so it's worked out nicely.

She's beautiful. x) She's an agouti isn't she?

awwwwwwwwwww hellooooooooooooooooooooo and

WELCOME SQUIGEY xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

her brother Godzilla is adorable too xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I still don't know too terribly much about guinea pigs, but I have read a lot lately. You described Squidgey as glistening in the sun. That sounds like an American "satin". I have read that their hair is hollow, making it super shiny. And Pigzilla looks like a teddy to me, at least the pigtures I've seen. I want one just like Sqidgey, and of a light cinnamon or ginger color, to keep Redemption company. Beautiful beasties!

p.s. What camera did you use? I'm looking for another, so I'd like to know.

Yes we think she is possibly part satin, I don't really know the parentage history. Godzilla is rex cross I think. His hair doesn't feel as dense or 'wire' like as the other rex piggies I have, it's just quite wavy!

I have some other golden agouti piggies and also a couple of ginger pigs, they're all a very pretty colour! Squidgey pig has quite a light coloured tummy compared to the rest of her. I'm sure Red would love a new friend!

Believe it or not I just used my Blackberry camera to take these pictures. It's very easy because they can be uploaded straight to the internet from the phone.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww shes just beautiful x)
