I just saw this guinea pig on gumtree...

http://glasgow.gumtree.com/glasgow/26/40637626.html

I feel that heart-string pulling when you see a guinea pig who reminds you SO MUCH of an old piggie you use to have and you KNOW you can provide the pig with a good home and you know you'd love and be able to provide him with the care and attention he needs...

I'm trying so HARD to not respond to the add... so, so, so hard...

Poor bunny what happens when the novelty wears off with the dog?

Aww and the peruvian is gorgeous! Same colouring as Cuzzy but he was a Sheltie! So hard not to reply, because you don't want to replace the pig you lost. He is lovely though! :)

No, no, let's not talk about how lovely he is or about how comforting and satisfying it will be to sit and groom him and burry my nose and face in his soft, beautiful locks of hair or about how much I love long haired guinea pigs and how much character he holds in that beautiful tanned face of his.

Lets instead talk about how much poo there will be!

I agree with the dog-bunny-swap. I seriously wtf-ed at that ad...

My lips are sealed!

Yep so much poop! I find poop out of cages as well! I have no idea how it gets there! :(|)

It is just sad, thats what it is....animal bloomin swapshop pow-pow

They're trying to hit you with it. Whenever you go by they prepare... aim and fire. Shame the poops are small that they normally hit you without notice. It's the pigs way of telling you you're starving them and they need more veggies :D

(seriously, my pigs seem to love kicking poops and bedding out of their cage. Just wait until I re-do the correx... I'll be makin' the walls HIGHER! BWAHAHAHAH!)

I agree Fi, there is no regard for the animals state of mind. That is what I always try and think of being passed from pillow to post is not good for their mental well being. How do they trust again? Animals will because they are loving things but things like this really trouble me.

Haha kicking poops I can believe that! Had 2 young girls in my spare room and found poop on the other side of the room! They were in C&C as well! :(|)

That explains probably how it gets on WALLS!

Walls? Omg, please oh please may I not be faced with wall-poop!

Although I have had critical care on a wall... my syringe control isn't always good.

Cranberry juice makes very interesting splashes as well...

I'm having a similar struggle of conscience as you - just a different piggie!

I'll get your piggie, you get my piggie and we'll leave them both at each others homes for us to both find and be surprised by :)

Yes, but I have been most vilely bribed with a prospective baby daughter thrown in, so the very pregnant girl in question has one and I am free to have her... URRGHH!

NOT so sure whether I WANT to swap, even though your dream pig is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! It's been five years since I had babies and then I had to give them away...
