Holiday advise

Hi everyone. I have been invited to go on holiday for five days. I have a very good friend to take care of my piggies while I’m away. Unfortunately he is disabled and won’t be able to put the boys in their run. I’m concerned that it is unkind to leave the boys in their cages for so long. I’d rather not go away if this is the case. I would appreciate your advise/comments. Thanks in advance

They would be fine without being put in their run while you are away.
My boys live in a hutch in my shed. During the daytime, I open the hutch doors and they play in the shed but it is temperature dependent, so during the winter there have stretches of days when they don’t get let out of their hutch at all

I think you should go and enjoy yourself, your piggies will be fine without their run time for a few days. Mine get floor time, but that involves 3 seperate sessions as they can't all be out at the same time. Some days I don't have the time to supervise all of them so some will miss out.
