can anyone help me .I rescued a gorgeous little girl from a pet shop to discover she was pregnant.she has since had 4 babies.unfortunately 2 were born as lethals. They are happy little babies although both are deaf and blind and at least one has dental problems.was really wanting to keep them myself praying they were girls, but I have 2 girls and 2 boys and the 2 lethals are boys.(boo hoo)They will need a very special home with lots of care and attention. They are real little characters already .They are 2 and half weeks old ,so desperately need a home within the next couplle of weeks .please help if you can.will deliver them too you if transport is a problem to you (as long as not too far away ):( we live in ebbw vale

I would have had one but I live in staffordshire-plus my hubby might go nuts! :( do you have any pictures for us to see :) x

Aw thanks anyway do have pics but phone playin up .will have to get some pics uploaded so everyone can see how cute they are

If no one has them i MIGHT be able to talk him round seeing as they are so special. But I'm sure someone on here will offer to help or point you in the direction of someone else they know who could help :)

I am sorry that you can't keep these special little boys.

If space and time is an issue, could you try and contact SuzyGPR? She runs a rescue near Cardiff (although she is pretty full) but could help you with finding a suitable home for them through her own contacts.

Whoever does come forward to home these special boys will need a rodentologist or vet who is experienced in dentals without GA, as they will probably have dental issues for life and need frequent treatment. The blindness/deafness isn't a big issue for the pigs but the ongoing dental care will be so an experienced owner with good dental backup is vital. I know we have many members that are suitable owners for these two poor boys - fingers crossed this will be a happy ending very soon.

Although I could take these boys on the biggest problem is that there isn't a suitable dental vet that I can get to and no rodentologists at all. The chances of a home coming forward for these boys while in the rescue is low as the vast majority of homes want healthy pets.

Just looked on google directions and depending on where in Berkshire Deadgirl lives it is only 2hrs and 3 mins via the M4 so not too bad. I was also thinking about having them too but being at work in the week and having 17 other piggies we may not be able to give them enough. and we are 3.5 hrs away so even further! :(

have you any pictures? I have two old boys just now but am looking for the next generation...

They sound lovely and special people (and piggies) are welcome in our house. i would just need to speak to the girlfirend.....

thanks,. look I will be straight with you, very grateful for your offer ,unfortunately I'm a non driver so its getting my hubby to agree to it.I would love them to go to you as you sound like you love your piggies.if nobody closer comes up perhaps I can persuede my hubby to drive me up to you, will keep in touch and let you know what happens over next week or so.thanks again x

Was this for deadgirl. me or the other poster? :)

yep spoke to hubby again and he misheard what i said .he said reading is about 2 hours so praps we can sort something out thanks for your help x

right sorry you are not as far as i thought.hubby suggested we meet you at cheevley services(the newbury turn off on the m4) would you be able to do this.suzy at the rescue centre said we should be alright until they are 4 weeks old,(another12 days )so it would be before monday 3 jan .want to try and give them some more time with mum,get back to me if you can do this my love and we will sort out when and times etc.x

I would take them in a few weeks when the rescue numbers are down and we are adopting out again. I am in Cardiff.

But right now I am full to the brim and it's unlikely I can even take them on 3rd Jan as we will only just be opening up adoptions again after Christmas.

Poor lads, if your hubby will drive them to reading that would be very kind of him and what a christmas present for the lads.

x
