As said in my other post my eldest sow Willow has been extremely hormonal and grumpy for the past 2 weeks, it's out of character and something is bothering her. I've taken Willow to the vet and I've just been to pick her up today, she was in for an ultrasound of the bladder and ovaries to check for stones or cysts, everything came back perfectly healthy, there's nothing wrong with her physically, so now I'm stumped as to what's wrong.

Willow lives in a herd of 5 but is only acting bossy mainly towards one other pig, Aspen. Aspen also has some symptoms of ovarian cysts and she was checked out a few months ago, the vet seemed to agree that it was a possibility and wanted us to bring her in for an xray, however money at the time was a problem and since she didn't appear sick, we haven't done it. However now I'm wondering if it's possible that Aspen is the one with ovarian cysts, maybe her hormones and constant seasons are being picked up by Willow and it's causing Willow to act out, since she is the herd leader? Is this at all possible?

I'm going to have Aspen booked in next as the whole thing is quite odd to me, if Aspen is also normal then the conclusion will be just behavioural, but I want to rule out a physical problem first since Aspen does also have some symptoms.

What a stressful time!
