I found this stick in the pigs hay I think it looks like horseparsley usually I take it out because I don't know if it's safe but the piggies beat me to it this time and were running round the cage snatching it off each other and having a great time they got very angry at me when I confiscated it and were only calmed by a pinch of forrage. Are they allowed to have it back? Am I a meanie meanie human for taking it away?

Thanks. I presume it would be as it's quite often in there but I thought I'd be on the safe side and keep it out but now I know how much they love it I'm tempted to just let them have it
It's in my hay so it is fine

Piggies seem to know what’s safe to eat and will usually leave it. I get sorrel stalks in mine occasionally which they show no interest in at all

I got them in my hay too, left them in as not done mine any harm

Interesting! I’ve found sticks in my meadow hay and have been picking them out! Is it a reddish brown colour?
