I’ve changed the Fitch and vetbed to newspaper today as it’s just scorchio! They’ve even done zoomies rather than just laying around with the heat. It’s so hot in Leicester today.

@EJMA82 It might be worth using puppy pads instead of newspaper as it doesn't absorb urine, so you run the risk of urine scald on the pigs.

I'm in Leicester too and it was a comfortable 23 degrees in the pig room yesterday.

Norwich was at least 30 outdoors, hottest day yet we think. I put a tub filled with cold water and ice cubes in for them to sit by if they want - what d'you call it, one of those "Lock'n'lock" food containers that will stay sealed even if they kick it around.
