How can I get rid of the static from Basil's hair?

For the last wee while there has been a lot of static on Basil, is there any way of getting rid of it?

There's probably something I can get from Gorgeous Guineas. I have just bought Posh and Go. Maybe that will do the trick. It will have to wait a couple of weeks. I am currently having to use an insectidal shampoo for lice.
