How do clean up hay that clings to the rug?

So hay often ends up on the floor around the guinea pig area, which I don't mind because of course it will. My issue is the hay clings to my rug. Sweeping isn't very effective and I have yet to own a vacuum that can pick up the hair without getting clogged up by it.

How do you all tackle hay that clings to the rug? We have to de-clog the vacuum every time we use it because of the hay and we can't afford a super-vacuum.

Some members use a rubber curry comb that you can get for horses or a rubber sweeping brush. I think both are available from Amazon.

I use the rubber broom. They sell them in Lakeland if you have one of their stores near you.

I use a portable vacuum to clean their poop, so I just use it along the outside of the cage too.

I use a rubber broom from Amazon but I have also increased the height of the correx sides and a lot less hay falls out.
