How do i know if my guinea pig if feeling depressed? Are there any signs that i should look out for? And are there any things that guinea pigs should have in order to not get depressed?

Thank you :)

Symptoms of depression can include less active behaviour, over grooming, over eating or less eating, and generally not interested in their surroundings.

Guinea pigs are pack animals, so to ensure that they aren't bored or lonely they should live in pairs as a minimum - unless your guinea pig is antisocial. Switching things around in their cage often, buying or making new toys (paper bags, cardboard boxes and tunnels are always a hit), taking them out of their cage for playtime either on the grass or indoors all ensure that your piggies stay happy and entertained :)

LeahsPiggies has covered it very well. The most important thing for pigs is another pig! Human company is good, but not as good as a hairy friend!

Thank you all very much. Yes sadly i know of a piggie showing these signs he is not mine but i dont was any piggie to be depressed. He is also terrified of humans.
