I'm having to finish off my C&C cage this week as my baby Max is arriving one week earlier now on saturday.

I need to know how everyone attaches the fleece to their ramp. I bought some tough ribbon from a fabric shop today - how would i use this as would tie one side, but other side would be loose and the piggies may go under it as such ( do i make any sense!?!? hehe)

please help everyone! i can only do it tonight you see!

lol I'm glad your asking all these questions! saves me asking in a few weeks time!!! :)):))

Thanks emily! ;)

Sorry can't help tho! :red

He's arriving Saturday! wow thats only 3 sleeps! :))

lol louiser, just go to my profile in a couple of weeks and look at all my threads" you shall get all the answers! hopefully i will be able to help you too! ii will get piccies this weekend hopefully! :) :))

i know its so exciting! i keep looking at piccies of him i have on email, he so cute i want to eat him! :) :)) (not literally of course!)

back to the topic though! hehe

anyone?

Louise (sunshine and twinkle) would you be able to help!?

Depends what your ramp is made of. If its wood you could glue it on, if it's bended wire than you might have to start sewing, make it like a pillowcase to slip on and off.
You could also string it like a shoelace at the back once you've put the fleece on the ramp to tie it down.

Don't know if that helps! Good luck!

thanks! I think i am going to make a couple of loop holes and tie it to the mesh (two grisb bent together). fingers crossed it will be ok!

hey guys i am having real trouble with this and would appreciate everyones help, photos explanation! please help - i have looked at the www.guineapigcages.com but still not helping. i think i am stupid!

I haven't tried attaching fleece, think it might be a bit of a pain. What about a bit of old carpet if you can get a hold of some? It usually stays in position with no bother.

thanks for that. I did attach the fleece to it last nnight, i made two little holes and looped the ribbon through.

do people put correx on the ramp too?

Lol, you could try wonder-webbing a piece of velco to the fleece on both sides and depending on the ramp glueing or something similar! I have been badgering Louise to do this as it will keep it nice and tight without much movement! Might be worth thinking about :)p

i have screwfix grids, i think that could work? How do you and Louise have yours?

lol, Louise just lays it down and let them get on with it. But you could also try getting hold of some of that moddlers matting that looks like grass! Only thing is they may try to eat it lol.. I think the velcro is the way to go as it's easier to remove

lol, they probably would try and eat it - being the eating machines they are! haha :)):))

so you mean have the velco on the base of the ramp, and them some on the fleece, and tada!?! I'm guessing you dont use correx on the ramp?

sorry I'm being so dumb but want to get it right!

I would put something underneath, but thats trial and error and what you prefer :)p

cheers! when i get the correx tomorrow i shall have a little play! i suppose i can attach the correx permanently with cable ties! lets hope this all works out ok!
