how do you introduce new foods

hey i wanted to introduce some new foods to my pig. I know that carrots has been said that they should be a treat but i dont know how to introduce new foods to her i know slowly but not sure. And i also want to change the food I dont think she likes it that much. I guess wait till the bag gets half full then introduce the new brand?

If you want to introduce any new foods it has to be done slowly. Guinea pigs will often ignore new foods but try it a few times as it does not mean they will not learn to like them. If you want to change the dry food mix a little of the new one in with the old one to get them used to it slowly.
