How Do You Make A Fleece Forest?

This is going to sound like a dumb question but how do you make a fleece forest? I know you cut the fleece in to strips, but what size fleece do people use and how do you attach it?

I much prefer the corner ones to be honest.
But make the top bit a triangle shape so it will actually fit in a corner.

I don't bother with string though. Or any sewing.
It can just be made by cutting only. Unless you really want too! Haha.
