hi everyone!

Just after a bit of help while I start ordering everything up for the c&c cage.

How do you make the ramps in them?

:help: Thankyou x

You can make it out of correx. When I did it I made it out of correx, lined it with stick in carpet and then made ladders out of carpet. I would suggest getting a wide piece of correx and scoring it to make sides so the piggies don't fall off. Also make it quite long so it's not too steep

I had fairly thick correx so unsure if it will work with the 2mm stuff

I've also seen them made from 2 c&c grids bent, overlapped, cable tied together and then lined with some fleece liner or carpet tile to pad it out.

Correx is far easier.

I made my own out of left over correx & a carpet tile, might need some adjustments, will see how my boys get on with it- just finishing setting it all up :)

I used double thickness correx and cable tied it to the loft entrance. It has a longer piece which slides under the loft for stability. I've made a load of fleece covers which also go right under the loft and twist through the grid to secure. It means I can wash them and match them to the cage fleece. DSC_0189.webp DSC_0103.webp

I used some white soil pipes that I have for the kids so they can build dens. Then I cable tied a strip of foam flooring between the pipes (about 10cm wide). I then covered it with corex as I knew they'd avoid the ramp if it wasn't covered.
