We have Oxbow Western Timothy hay, but I've noticed it can be dusty with tiny bits and pieces of hay, rather than proper strands. Does this affect quality? The pigs don't seem affected by it; no sneezes or anything.

It depends on the bag, sometimes the oxbow stuff we have is a little dusty... depends on the batch. I never feed the scraps at the end of a bag as that tend to be nothing but dust. We buy the slightly bigger 1kg bag and find it less bitty than the 425g

Yep, our scraps seem higher up than the bottom. I never feed the dust at the bottom either. I think we're due a new bag too, as my sister is very tempted to give them extra big piles because they love it so much.
I love opening big new bags of hay, so fresh and fragrant:love:
