My guniea (whose name is Pig) is 8" long and weighs over four pounds! Even tho all he eats is fruits and veggies, he's still quite the porker!

How much fruit and vegetables is he eating? Guinea pigs need a diet which is 80% hay. They are not like us and can put on weight due to too much fruit and vegetables. I feed mine two portions of vegetables a day and fruit now and then as a treat.

As Piggyfan says they need an unlimited supply of fresh hay available at all times.
Does he eat any guinea pig pellets/muesli, this can cause weight gain when fed in excess.

over 4 lbs is pretty much 2kg, which is very large.
do you have a photo? He could be a large pig (I had one myself that was about 4lbs) or he could be very overweight

I've never had a really big guinea pig until i adopted my Sheltie piggie Morrisey and even then i think thats just all hair! They do look cute though with a little chubby face (all serious dieting issues aside)
