NPadgham
Junior Guinea Pig
Hi all,
I brought home my pair of bonded boars on Saturday, they are both around a year old.
They're bedded on fleece with a hay tray and hay rack. They have a good sized box as a hidey, a cosy cup and tunnel.
So far, every morning I pick all their poop out, throw out the used hay and clean with an animal friendly disinfectant. Replace with fresh hay. I also wash out their bowls and water bottle and give fresh water, pellets and veggies. I repeat this in the evening with the exception of the bottle as once a day seems clean enough.
I'll be replacing their cage liner every 3 days I think as it's looking quite grubby now with calcium wee spots etc.
Does this sound ok?
