They are a couple of rescued guineas, I think Summerlease rescued Umbrella in a group of twenty five. Parasol is his new girlfreind I think.

Thanks for the pm and wanting to know how Umbrella is getting on with Parasol. Sorry I haven't been around much as I am now working full-time and also studying a management course.
Well, when Umbrella first met Parasol there was the initial chase around after each other for about two hours then calm. Then he just rumbled whenever she was near him for about five weeks and still now from time to time. Infact, he rumbles when I stroke him. Funny lad! rolleyes
Anyway, they are great together. Parasol is still very timid but getting better. I think they are really well matched size-wise. She thinks she is the boss, then hides behind him when scared.
I am so pleased how things have worked out for Umbrella. It is a joy to watch him popcorning around and playing chase with Parasol. Hopefully she will become braver but I realise it is going to take quite a long time!
