Hi, can you please tell me how long you can keep and feed pellet "mush" once it has been dissolved in water? Does it have to be done fresh every time or is it ok for the day? Thank you

I would make it up fresh every time in small lots as needed. As you're putting the syringe into the piggies mouth and then back into the food.

Hope your little one is feeling better soon.

I usualy make a half cup and use it within 6 hours! Though l replace water with liquifid veg.
If you are using water then l suppose it would keep for a few more hours

Thanks. The thing is she is over her op (spay) but not putting weight back on. She is eager for food and eating herself but I don't think she is eating as much as usual, particularly the pellets so I thought I would boost them a bit. She had her post op check a week ago and bet said to weigh her every couple of days and ring in, and that she should start putting back on in the next 2 weeks.

You are doing a great job.
I would suggest making up a small amount of fresh pellet mix a few times a day.
I don't think it would be awful to only do it once a day, but it will probably taste fresher and be more appealing if it is done more often, and this in turn will encourage her to eat more.

You can stretch it to day, but a small amount of fresh mush twice daily would be better, especially in warm weather.
