I have had them for a short while compared to some and a long time compared to others as I have had them eleven years this year O0

I have only had piggies since 2004, so four years now. However I had rabbits before that, from age 12 +.

My first piggy "Truffles the Great" entered my life in 1978 - so I guess that makes it 30 years give or take a bit!

OMG! Am I totally 98) All I know is I am totally :smitten: with GPs and would break my heart to be without them.

since I was 3 (mum looked after them for me obviously. but I have taken care of them since i was 12.

It just lost my post... grrrr!

Had piggies as a child but was only allowed 1 :'( then got one from an auction without my parents knowing 98)

Didn't have any more until I left uni at 21 - so 10 years ago.... had a P@H pair of shelties, Monica and Phoebe.

No more until I got my own house and got rid of my ex in Nov 2006 - when I got Mr Bojangles! Slippery slope from then on to the current number!

I had piggies as a child but I won't count that as my mum did most of the looking after.

As an adult I have had them for 6 years.

1st weekend of march last year i got bob and munchie, who were my first ever piggies, so a year and 2 months-ish.

I'll have had Misty 2 years on the 5th of June. Feels more like 10 years I've had him :D

As a child we had them, but I'm sure my mother did all the caring.
Now I'm an O.A.P., I got Basil in April 2007, then Marigold and Lavender came in Sept 2008. So very much a newcomer compared to everyone else.

these are my first ones, and I'm here to find out as much as possible about them
i've learnt lots ;D
i've had them 2 months

Got my first piggy Toffee when I was teaching in a primary school and one of the school guinea pigs had babies - that was 15 years ago. Then had Basil, then Gilbert, now have Daisy and Clover. All lovely piglets :) :smitten:

had some when i was younger but keeping them as an adult? since last saturday lol

Georgie came into my life just over 6 years ago..... :smitten: :smitten:

had piggies as a child then had one i named wilfred when i moved into my own house then i dident have piggies for a few years after lossing wilfred and having my two sons but have now had piggies for four years started with pinky and perky and now have 11 piggies pinky, perky, patch, popy, ruby, lola, lilly, lucy, bubble, squeak, and sophie all piggies i have taken in due to not being wanted by previouse owners for various reasons

to long i a thinking ;D errr no i have had them for 8 years i think

Had bunnies as a child and moved into piggies when my youngest was about 4 so that must make it 10 years since Roger and Rusty came into our lives and started our guinea pig addiction! ;D My hubby has never forgiven himself for suggesting getting some small furries for the girls ;D ;D ;D little did he know!

August 2007 - so new to piggies! They're such brilliant animals and are no bother at all to look after. I just love how each animal has their own individual character - just like we do!

I had them aged 8/9 but mum looked after them. Then didn't get anymore until 2003, now I have 12
oops

Had several pet pigs (Himalayans & Abys) as a kid in the 1960s. As an adult I bought a couple of pets in 1980 and my first purebred (a Dalmation) in 1981. The pigs I have now, 27 years later, are his descendents.
