I'm taking them both off veggies, but how many days? Two? Duncan's poops are definitely soft and I'll check Godfrey- also, should I take a stool sample of Duncan's to the vet if taking them off veggies doesn't work?

A day or two and you should notice a difference. If they're still ill then it's not the veg causing the issue.

It's worth taking a sample, just in case.

I think I have to take my pigs off veggies, as some of my new pig's poos are a bit soft and light in colour. She also strains to go to the toilet. The vet thinks she is adjusting to her new diet, as we have only had her for three weeks and she had a really bad diet before. I just wondered if you found it hard to suddenly not give them their veggies, as piggies usually get really excited when it's veggie time? Did you distract them with something else at veggie time? Mine get their veggies at the same time everyday and are always waiting for them, so I don't know how to suddenly stop giving it to them.

Distract them with other things. Give them a nice fresh pile of hay at veg time instead.

Thank you, I will try it later. I might get my boyfriend to take Lily in another room to give her veggies, as she can still have them. But in the mornings they are always both waiting at the bars for me, so I will have to find something for then to distract them.

When they wheek at me I give them a pile of hay, but they love the guilt trip! I feel bad, as we didn't slowly introduce veggies, hopefully I can make amends. Aside from the slight poop trouble they're both right as rain, so I'm trying to stay calm.
