Hi everyone,

I love this forum, loads of great info. I have 8 piggies of my own and am fostering 5 others, all my piggies are indoor and i was wondering how many piggies everyone else has.

Hi Jo, welcome to the forum....I've only got 2 females...they've been with me for 5 1/2 weeks. So, I'm sure my brood will grow in the future...i'd love to have more...but can only afford the 2 at the moment...so I will refrain from getting more right now.

I have 6 of my own and 2 foster piggies. Mine are inside and the fosters outside (for now).

How do you keep yours indoors Jo? What's your set up? I could do with some tips :)

I have gone from 2 to 5 (as of next week) since joining this forum.

Hi Jo,

I have four piggies. Mimsi, Montgomery, Matilda & Lady Penelope. Mimsi is my oldest piggy and is nearly five. Farquhar and Bob (sows) were my first venture into the piggy world but sadly they are both at rainbow bridge now. Farquhar is the piggie in my avatar. Look forward to hearing more about your piggies.

I have 10 piggies, going on 12. At present I have two neutered boys and eight girls; the two newcomers are boys. They're split into four groups though; three pairs and a group of six. It turns out I have several "incompatible" girls so unfortunately can't keep them in fewer groups. :))

Hi guys,

thanks for the replies, it's great to hear about the piggies you all have and those running free at rainbow bridge :rose

I originally had two boys, but my crew has quickly grown through rescue/fostering :)p I have been involved in cat/dog rescue for several years, but a year ago a couple of unwanted piggies found their way to me. I had piggies years ago as a kid and over the last 12 months have re-discovered the brilliant world of piggies. My spare room has become the 'piggy room' and the piggies are currently in several nero 4/large ferplast cages. Am probably going to end up having 9 of my own piggies (yes some of the fosters are staying!), but keep a cage free for emergency fostering. I work as a Tellington TTouch practitioner, which is especially good rescue animals, plus I do reiki for people and animals.
I love the c&c/grid systems I've found on this site and am looking to get some of these set up instead of the cages. All the piggies get cuddles/TTouch sessions every day and spend time in an exercise area, the piggy room has patio doors, so the piggies get lots of fresh air.

thanks again for the replies
