how much carrot is too much carrot

I’d say a whole baby carrot each is too much. Carrot should regarded as a treat and only fed a small amount occasionally. My two don’t get carrot very often, but if I do give them some, then they will get about a 0.5-1cm thick slice each

That does seem like quite a lot , id give half a baby carrot
ok. thanks. i know only to give once a week but wasnt sure how much. also what is the best lettuce. i got a bag of spring mix bc the store was out of green leaf but i think it has spinich in it.

With regards to the lettuce I feed mine little gem. I don’t think it matters too much as long as it’s not iceberg as it doesn’t have any nutritional value.

:agr:

Any lettuce, but not iceberg, is fine. If it has spinach in it, then I would pick the spinach leaves out so to ensure they don’t get them often. High calcium veg such as kale, spinach and parsley should only be fed a small amount once per week.

thanks everyone. and bc way too cute
