My new little boy Dillon is tiny compared to my existing boars Sweep and Fudge so now I'm wondering if we have over-fed Sweep and Fudge or is Dillon underweight?
Dillon at 5 months weighs 696g, Fudge at just over 3 months weighs 746g and Sweep at just over 5 months weighs 965g but then he's always been a little on the heavy side. Dillon is partially sighted and was in with rabbits when we collected him or perhaps rescued him would be a better description this morning. He doesn't seem to know what to do or what fresh vegetables are so I'm hoping Sweep who he is in with will show him the ropes
My Henry was 514g when he was approx 3 mths, as I said, I don't know the ideal, this is just what mine are/were. It may be that you have two big piggies and the third just needs to catch up. I've only had piggies for a year, I'm sure someone more experianced will give their view
Just to clarify (sorry if you have posted elsewhere) are they all boars?
Dillon weighs more than Spike who is only 634g and is five and a half months old and Cornelius Fudge who was 524g (before he had his testicles removed yesterday) and is four months old but I don't know if they are average or not.
Looks like I've got two big piggies and that's why Dillon looks small in comparison! Sweeps weight gain has slowed down to roughly 10g per week and Fudge's is about 30g on average so I'll keep an eye on Dillon and see how his weight goes
