Tomorrow is my Hollys 13th birthday she has been with us since she was 8 weeks old. She is a very shy girl and only really likes the OH and I. She will normally go out of the room if anyone comes round.

When we got the pigs and buns she was nearly 10 and she adapted to them really well she never bothers with them at all. We regularly have furry house guests staying over including Becks giant buns and she again just accepts them, showing she likes furrys rather than people.

Here is my teenager Holly

Just wondering how old your oldest pets are?

I had a cat when I was younger named Tigger who lived until he was 18 :)
But at the moment the oldest are our current cats (brothers) Eddie and Kevin who are 8, so not very old!
Oldest piggie is Doris who is about 4 1/2 :)

Our oldest is Dylan the dog, he's 7.5. My mum has 2 cats, the eldest will be 17 tomorrow :)

Isn't Holly lovely, she looks like she has a heart on her chest x)

Our oldest is Fudge, who is 15 (I think) in February. He's going deaf and can't see as well as he used to and he suffered from a stroke last summer, but luckily he recovered. Hopefully he'll be with us for a few more years yet. We've had him since he was about 4 months old. Here he is:

(He's also had haematoma's in both ears, hence why they are crinkled up)

Patch is my oldest furry friend. He is 2 and a half years old, and is so healthy and strong. He has adopted 2 new babies who he looks after, as well as how he accepted Alphonse in to his life just 18 months ago. This creature has taught me to accept myself, the same way he accepted me as well as having the respect to look after myself. He accepts me unconditionally and I love and accept him the same way.

I love Patch so much, when I was living on my own, and it was me, him and my poor hammy Zeke (30.03.2008 - 16.03.2009, R.I.P)

and we were a small family, it was lovely. When I got really REALLY ill, he was there when I came out of hospital and wouldn't stop licking my face.

He is such a character and hates having baths!

My parents' cat Sam who I think of as mine is 14. My oldest piggy is Honey who's 4. Oldest hamster is Tofutti Cutie I think who is about 18 months (he is a Russian dwarf).

Saffron (the cat in my avatar) is about 14; we adopted her 2½ years ago from our friends who were emigrating to Australia, and they specifically wanted her to come to us. Our oldest cat was Harriet whom we lost just a week short of her 18th birthday.

Holly is gorgeous.

Our cat Tigger is 15 now. He is quite deaf but can hear higher pitched noises. He miows loads more than he used to!

He sleeps a lot more than he used to but can still have a mad five mins around the garden when he wants!

My GS x Collie Milo was 10 last November and my last dog Jake a Springer Spaniel died at 14yrs old, my very first guinea pig Sparky died at 6 yrs old and although he wasn't furry I had a fairground goldfish called Noddy who lived for years and years which is surprising really considering that he used to jump out of his bowl especially at night time.

We only started out on our own 4 years ago, so our oldest are some of our piggies at 4 years old lolz When I was at home though, it wasn't unknown for our pets to live well into their teens, we had a Siamese cat that lived close to 20. My dog will be 2 this year, I'm hoping that she lives a long while yet.

I love Hollys heart shape on her chest pleased you spotted it Niki I think it makes her special having it x

My springer spaniel Meg will be 15 on the 29th February, then we have our other dogs who are 13, 11, 10 and 5. My piggies are 1 year and 4 months and 9/10 months.

i helped to rehome a cat that survived a house fire aged 25yrs old, sadly his friend aged 27yrs old died in the fire :( and i hear he is still going strong :)

My oldest was Polly a semi-long haired cat who suffered an overactive thyroid, she was 18 1/2 when she left us. At the moment it's Jess she's a grumpy 11 year old tortie cat.

My Wazzle, is around ten years old we think, we got Tara from the RSPCA when she was around ten months old, they found her wander the streets pregnant and badly abused by her previous owners. :( I cannot understand why anyone would want to hurt her she's an absoloute star, is kind and gentle around children and animals, is loved by myself, my family and all the dog walkers in my area, and loves pining a the base of trees for squirrels to come down and play with her.

x) My beautiful little angel, who i couldnt imagine life without:

My oldest is actually a guinea pig, at age 4. I do have a cat, but he's very young still, only a year old. Here's the old guinea pig

She has a cataract in her other eye, and my hairless guinea pig is in the background

My oldest is a guinea pig sow called Artoo who we bought as a baby in May 2004 - so she is almost 7 and still going strong. That said, when we adopted Blizzy (piggie) frm Alice @ Windwhistle she said she was six and a half, and that was in May 2010, so she may actually be older than Artoo!

The oldest I ever had was my horse Thomas who lived to the grand old age of 32. This was taken a few days before he passed away.

My current oldest is my pony Razz, who will be 26 in April, I have owned him since he was 4, and I was small enough to ride him!

I've also had a cat that lived to be 20, think I must be looking after them well! x)

I love the names Eddie and Kevin, they sound fab. Any pics?x)

Here they are :) Kevin's on the left, Eddie's on the right! They were already named when we got them as we rehomed/rescued them when they were kittens from cats protection :)
