Cue
Junior Guinea Pig
Hello! We’ve been trying to catch a very young (doubt a year old) Guinea pig who was dumped in a local park approx. two weeks ago. She’s taken up residence in a nasty blackberry bramble and sometimes pokes her head out to get food. She’s super smart; we’ve tried nets with food under them and on top of them, tubes with snacks in them, luring her out to snag her. She doesn’t fall for any of it and this morning wanted nothing to do with us after last nights three-hour attempt. We could cut down the patch, but it’s massive and would take all day with three people and machetes.
She’s in pretty good shape, aside from dehydration, fleas, ringworm, and her little paws and nose are all cut up.
She has water, we come by every morning and night with fresh veggies and hay for her. From what I’ve seen she’s been eating dead blackberry leaves and stems, withered up morning glory, and some grass.
Help?
