How to convince mama to let me adopt?

Hey there
I have been thinking it over and I feel I am ready to try and find McMac a friend after Momo
I really do miss Momo but I feel ready to give McMac a friend and a piggy a loving home.
The only problem is since I still live at home my mum is being a little difficult :/ When we went to go say goodbye to Momo at the vets I was in such a state my mum told me its probably best I don't get any more so I don't have to deal with the loss again. But I can't help but love animals and want to try to make them happy...
I have asked mum and she's said no more animals and I don't know how to convince her.
Mums being a bit of a hater :/

ALSO while i'm here we have left over toilet roll thingies and I was wondering if I could make some toys for the rabbit and piggy from them. Any ideas? thanks

My mum was like this when I lived at home and would always be like, 'no more' because I get so upset.
I would maybe try and explain how piggies thrive better in pairs, company etc and how would she like to live alone in a cage?
Maybe find some threads on here and the replies I'm sure you'll get to this, about why it is good for them to have a friend.
I always say who do they cuddle up to when they're cold or lonely? or who do they talk to all day?
Also, its not like they will take up more space a friend will move in with mcmac if you see what I mean.
Are you hoping to take him boar dating?

oh by the way, the toilet roll, try stuffing them with hay, I've also seen people string them together and hanging them across the cage

Yeah I was hoping to take him boar dating and I asked my mum if I could at least just LOOK around the shelter but I don't think she wants to :/
