How to get urine stains out of carpet?

Dark blue carpet ... white stains everywhere ...
I think it's time to get rid of them!

Will a generic stain remover work? Like the ones you see on telly that are like a foam?

You could try white vinegar.

I'd say that a stain remover would work too though. As long as the pigs don't chew the carpet?

I put white vinegar on for a minute then rub it off then clean it with the carpet cleaner spray. It can take several attempts if it has dried in.

couldn't get rid of mine, so i got laminate flooring rolleyes (actually, i think it was more a case of laziness, cant be bothered to clean it, lets just rip it up and get a new floor)

ACE bleach, works a treat. It works on biological stains. I put some in an empty spray bottle and a quick squirt and a rubbing with a dish cloth works well for me. It's great for getting blood out too, just watch it fizz the blood away. DO make sure that you test a bit of carpet first and dont pour it on the carpet straight from the bottle so as to drown the stain, as this might damage the carpet, it is bleach after all.
