hi I'm looking to make our larry piggie a snuggle sack but the only problem is we can never get it to stay open and we have to open it for him :(

i know alot of people using boning but i have no idea where to get it and how to use it when making a bed :(

Id like to get one open like Laura's :) :

I've always wondered where to get the boning and how to keep it open too.
Good luck with making the cuddle sack ! (:

thank you :D

Ive always wondered , if its 12mm wide would you have to put lots of strips in a row along the cuddle sack ?:)

this is where i found the instructions for making them.

it is in german but you can work it out. you add the boning at the stage where the fleece is placed inside the cotton layer and when you turn the fleece over to stitch it in place, pin it, thread 28" of boning through the area where it is pinned (if you can understand what i mean), keep one end of the boning sticking out and as the other end comes through to meet it, stitch the boning together. this will hold it in shape and secure. then simply stitch your seam around the edge of the fleece. i hope you can understand what i mean. i was struggling to describe it - sorry

i have used that site befoe but thanks :)

I'm sorry but i dont understand what you mean :(

i've got one ready to be sewn up so when i get chance later i'll photograph the stages and forward it to you if that helps

that would be excellent thanks :D
