So I am curious about what age you would usually see a boar start showing typical boy behavior, including humping?
We have one boar and two sows, and although Eddi clearly likes the girls (and rumble struts at every opportunity!), so far we haven't seen any humping, or even particularly 'boyish' behavior.

Not that I am complaining, but I was interested to know when this sort of thing usually starts.

Many boys start at just over 2 weeks old when their mum comes into season again for the second time after giving birth. The pheromones wake them up. In a few cases of well developed babies, this can even be a few days earlier, in which case the boars can already be fertile! Most boars start sometime between 3-5 weeks, though, parallet to being weaned.

Some boars are more active than others.
