I'm sorry to say that ginger passed on today have to take her body along with Trixie who still alive Pets At Home and Vet where I got them from and they're going to check Trixie over to make sure she's okay and see if they can determine what ginger died of
She was eating and drinking normally this morning and my carer came in this afternoon and noticed she had gone
Her eyes were still open so whatever she died of it was quick I hope she didn't suffer
Rest in peace ginger
 
Oh Maddy I'm so sorry, especially since you've only just brought Ginger home. I know it can't be easy. x

Trixie does seem to be a lot happier though in a self she is bouncing around last night when I clean the cage out because if there is a new guinea pig coming and I wanted the cage to be clean and sterile of ginger in case of any infection but Trixie was quite happily tucking into a bowl of kale when I went to bed and I've just checked the bowl just now and there is no veg left in there
I will let you know how I get on and if I can find out what ginger passed away of a let you know

Oh Maddy, I am so sorry to hear that Ginger passed so soon after coming to her new home. I hope Trixie remains well and I look forward to finding out what the petstore say.
